Zippy - Tasks and Reminders App Reviews

I have tried many productivity apps and this is the best I have found so far.

Simple and easy to use.

This is the best to-do list app I have ever used.

Im a to do list junkie. Ive tried 20 of them and this is the best. Love the clean feel and the insights.

I have a hard time getting organized and to be honest, planning apps dont usually work for me. However, zippy is so simple and fun that it actually works

This helps me organize my household a great deal!

This app is beautifully designed and simple to use but it just doesnt work properly. None of the reminders work until you open or close the app then all of them dump out at once; including reminders for tasks you have marked completed. In addition to this, tasks suddenly become impossible to mark complete so each time you launch the app there are even more notifications, so many it has frozen my phone twice and I finally had to delete the app completely. It would be amazing if the reminder feature functioned properly. Perhaps after some big fixes I will give it another shot.

It does remind you until the date is passed. It should keep reminders going until completed.

Zippy is the most straightforward app Ive found for simple task management. Ive tried many, and its the only one I havent deleted after a few weeks. Props to the developers for making a great product.

Ive been using this app a week now. The UI is fantastic, and works smoothly but the real draw is the Insights. I find this unique feature ends up motivating to finish tasks on time or early so I can keep up my good stats. I also like that it leverages iCloud instead of creating its own sync service. Would like to see a web version in the future for when Im at my laptop but until then the iOS works just fine

Did I somehow miss an option to turn that off? I really dont want an app like this that reminds me to take its tutorial and to use the app! It seems you developers have delusions of the greatness of your own app.

Overall this is an okay app with a lot of potential. The one huge problem with this app is in the reminder/due date issue. This app gives you the ability to set a reminder, the problem with that is that it isn’t a reminder at all. It’s actually a due date. Obviously a reminder needs to come BEFORE the the task is due. The way it is set up now is you have to go in to the actual app and check what’s due before the “reminder” goes off. If you wait until the app “reminds" you then it marks the task as late, which skews the statistics. Without the statistics there is nothing that sets this app apart from other similar apps.

It’s got spiffy UI. I just wish it stopped with the spammy notifications to go back to the app when I haven’t set any notifications myself. Sadly, looks like the app developer has abandoned development.

The best task list app Ive used as a result of the smart "Insights" tab, which will motivate you far better than an easily dismissed notification.

Having used for one month, truly improve my efficiency and push me to finish my study. Also, I love the statistic part, a comprehensive analysis of my study habits helping me make better plan in the future.

Ive checked all the app settings and iOS Notification settings, but still the phone gives me no reminders from this app, ever. Nice design, though.
